I promised myself that I should blog often so as to store all the memories before I forget them. Well, it seemed like I am backing off before doing it.

Boyfriend has gotten his license three weeks ago. And so, we rented a car last week for a spin.actually, there is a series of events that linked to this rental of car.

Here it goes:
We were searching on a web hoping to find a rental company that rents out manual car for P-plates. Apparently there are only a few number of companies who provides manual cars. Adding that boyfriend is P-plater, chances of renting a manual car is slim. But , we happened to contact a company that is willing to lend a manual car to us! So soon after, boyfriend was asked to transfer them $50 for a deposit. I initiated to
Do the transfer for him. Who knows.. I misread the message he forwarded to me and ended up transferring a full sum Instead of a deposit. I know I am careless but little did I know that I can be so so careless when it comes to money issues.:(
I managed to contact the company to explain the situation and one of the staff actually assured me that nothing will be wrong as long as we keep the receipt.

So on the day of the rental, boyfriend tried to contact them as we are not sure of the time of collection. And guess what? They did not answer any of our calls. This company has three handphone numbers but none of them answer them. We were panicked and I even thought that if we were cheated , I will be the one who is blamed. Adding to that, it will spoil all our three days of fun?! And thank god, I must be one of the lucky kid that god bless. The staff finally get back to us after 4hours.

So we went to collect our car. I am
So glad that we are not cheated! Wanted to rent a getz but gotten a lancer. Boyfriend was complaining the moment we know . Until.... He saw the lancer that we collect, he was thrilled. Silver mod lancer with turbo. WHO WILL ACTUALLY RENT OUT SUCH A NICE CAR? well, they did.

So here's our three day event:
Day1: Old airport road for dinner > kallang 112 > boyfriend sent me home while he meet his friends for supper

Day2: fetch me> MA > swim > farm > fetch my mom home(since it's near) > upper Thomson dimsum > salted caramel > Henderson wave > jalan kayu with boyfriend's mom and ah Yi

We were planning for a prawning trip instead of jalan kayu but thanks to the heavy rain.:/

Day3: brunch @lavender > shaw tower > suntec > plaza sing > return of car

Half of the time we were travelling to shopping malls to settle something. Well, a short trip but an unforgettable one since these three days marks boyfriend 1st driving experience.(;
